Instructions:

Use a
2", 3-ring "flexible" binder as your notebook.
-
The cover
of your notebook must be clean & free of writing,
marks, etc.
-
A master
cover sheet with your name & period must be
clipped into your notebook.
- Five dividers
with tabs labeled with the name of each section.
-
Notebooks
must be brought to class each day!
- You will not be receiving
a separate grade for you notebook! You will, however, only be able
to use a well managed and organized notebook during
selected quizzes and tests.
- To be used during selected
quizzes and tests, all items in your notebook must survive a "shake"
test (i.e. there cant be "loose" items just thrown in) and all
of the following dividers must be present containing the mentioned
items in the right places, properly numbered and dated.

area to log each days agenda (what is written on the whiteboard).
You can use lined paper or purchase a calendar to record this information.
Develop a format and stick to it!

Course Paperwork

This
section will be used to store your course paper work (in this
order): the course syllabus,
safety contract, computer generated grade report (after
they have been signed and handed in for credit), a list of
lab group members & phone
numbers.

Here you
will keep and study aids, rubrics, helps, web site that you pick
up through the year. This also a good place to store your Basmati password

All work kept
behind this divider needs to be:

in the upper left hand corner,

Kept in
order by date (most recent in the back),

in a place that you choose (number the fronts using odd numbers only),
