CAMPUS BEAT: 'Guys and Dolls' to play
By AMANDA PEARSON / AAE Staff Writer
The Academy for Academic Excellence has many things going on - partnerships, GAVRT, sports - but it also has a Drama Department that has a lot of potential.
The students of the AAE Drama Department have decided to put on "Guys and Dolls" for their big spring production. They will be performing it at Hanson Hall at Church of the Valley, 14933 Wakita Blvd. in Apple Valley April 26 and 28-30.
"It's a real pleasure to work with so many gifted students at one time," said Richard Morris, the teacher of all AAE middle and high school drama classes. "It makes teaching and directing a great deal of fun. We are all working very hard to produce a quality show. I'm sure everyone who attends will thoroughly enjoy it - not just the parents, who don't really have much choice."
For ticket information call AAE at 946-5414 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
